Beginning in January at Austin Community College, yours truly teaches
an eight-week course on Austin as a
prime destination, geared for potental tour guides and other
hospitality
professionals. We’ll cover history, geography,
personalities,
growth, education, music, media, attractions, current events, and how
to
conduct a tour. The
class will require reading, discussion, and student presentations, and
will include certain
